MAISON and OBJET - In the City

2025-12-19

From January 14 to 19, Maison&Objet In the City returns to its winter home in Paris. This eagerly awaited B2B event brings together decorators, interior designers, galleries, leading brands, and exceptional artisans, setting the pace from one street to the next with a whole host of exclusive addresses and high-end galleries. This is where new dialogues and creative collaborations emerge. Visitors come here to find collection designs and tailor-made decor scenarios for their own projects. Cocktails and inspired discussions are the starting point for unexpected collaborations. Take the pulse of the capital during Maison&Objet!

Among the new additions are young designers, an international interior designer, a new distributor, and more...

  • At 60 rue de Verneuil, Emma Donnersberg, the French-American interior architect and designer, welcomes you to her new showroom. Discover her refined and organic furniture collections, which interact with the floral acrylics of Mexican artist Ileana García Magoda.
  • Next, visit Coutansais-Castillo, a young design studio founded last June. This is the story ofClara Rebillard Castillo and Victor Poirier Coutansais, who met while studying at the Camondo School. Clara has worked with Mathias Kiss and Studio KO, while Victor has worked with Maxime Bousquet, Marion Mailaender, and Fabrizio Casiraghi. At the DVIR Gallery, located at 13 rue des Arquebusiers in the 3rd arrondissement, they are presenting their first collection of furniture, made in Paris and inspired by the decorative arts.
  • Among the new additions! Accent Rouge. A new entity born from the merger of distributors Inédit Lighting, World Style Radiateurs, Passage, and Le Cèdre Rouge, it is opening its showroom in a mansion on Rue du Mail. A must-see.

In the galleries, a collection design is on display.

  • At Avant-Scène, Elisabeth Delacarte traces 40 years of design history through a repertoire of inspiring artists. In this anniversary year, the gallery owner is giving them carte blanche and celebrating the style of the 1980s. For the occasion, we take a dive into the crazy era of Le Palace.
  • At the Anne Jacquemin Sablon gallery, a creator, the artisan designer Alexandre Labruyère.Unveiled for the first time in 2022 as part of Paris Design Week Factory, this talented artist from Lille, who is also a cabinetmaker, draws inspiration from nature and the landscapes of northern France to bring the Petiole collection to life.
  • At Pierre Augustin Rose, meet three personalities who pay tribute to the great masters of the 20th century!

When light becomes an emblem

  • Adored by collectors, the iconic "black shapes" lighting fixtures from Editions Serge Mouilleneed no introduction. Maison&Objet In the City is also an opportunity to discover lesser-known models, 'Totems' and "Signal," at the Saint-Germain des Prés gallery with H. Isle, a contemporary lighting fixture publisher.
  • Meanwhile, at the MCDE Gallery, the works of Pierre Chareau, the star interior designer of the Art Deco period, engage in dialogue with the duo Hauvette and Madani.
  • And at Maison Delisle, artistic metalworkers since 1895, artist Willie Morlon is the guest of honor and invites visitors to delve into her archives. The artist draws inspiration from them to create Chimères, a collection blending drawings and eras. Great art.
  • Not to mention the Entrelacs gallery on Rue de Lille, where a collection of alabaster and bronze cast light fixtures crafted by the Marcheret family of artisans is on display.
  • And, on the Marais side, publisher Giopato&Coombes plays with scale. Presented in mini, subtle as a whisper, or maxi sizes, the Bolle, Scarabei Single, and Gem models play with contrasts.

Dazzling High Decoration

Furniture, works of art, tableware... Maison&Objet In the City, in January 2026, is a distillation of the French art of living. It is only natural that the term "Ensemblier" should reappear, in a contemporary version, revived by the centenary of the Exposition des Arts Décoratifs.

Patrick Gilles and Dorothée Boissier welcome guests to one of their apartments on Avenue Montaigne, the epitome of Parisian elegance. On Rue de Verneuil, Raphaël Le Berre and Thomas Vevaud are opening a new chapter in their Radice collection, exploring materials. For tableware, we turn to Pinto.

Not to mention the new brand that everyone is talking about: ADRET, launched last September by Guillaume Gibert & Baptiste Rischmann.
